Heredity Studio is residential interior design firm located in Houston, TX, founded by Rachel Hamburger.

 

Rachel grew up immersed in design — her grandmother, Sandra Weeks, is an interior designer who taught her the value of craftsmanship, creativity, and trusting your eye. Though she always imagined working alongside her, Rachel initially pursued a career in sales, which serendipitously led to a role with a local custom homebuilder. There, she was reminded of her lifelong love of design — ultimately leading her to join her grandmother’s firm, Sandra Weeks Design Group. She spent the next four years training under her before launching Heredity Studio. 

 

Rachel works closely with clients to design homes that reflect who they are — not just how they want their home to look, but how they want it to feel. She mixes old and new, color and pattern, clean lines and rich textures — creating spaces that feel both thoughtful and effortless. Her approach is less about chasing trends and more about creating spaces that feel one-of-a-kind, full of character, and unmistakably yours.
